COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus and as such our understanding of this is still evolving. Symptoms include fever, cough, difficulty breathing, muscle pain, and tiredness. If you start to display COVID-19 symptoms, avoid contact with others where possible by self-isolating and practising social distancing.
The virus can spread from person to person and as the incubation period is between 2 and 14 days, it’s difficult to detect and control the spread from person to person. People can catch the virus simply by touching surfaces or objects that have been contaminated and then touching their faces.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and World Health Organisation (WHO) recommend practising proper hand hygiene as a personal protective measure to help minimise the spread of COVID-19. One of the easiest ways to do so is to keep a bottle of hand sanitiser on you to allow for sterilisation any time, anywhere. Our MYDIS 100ml bottles of sanitiser are perfect to keep in your bag or pockets and are great for long-term use.
Ensure you wash your hands frequently with soap and water when possible or use a hand sanitiser.
Catch coughs and sneezes with tissues and throw them away. Use your sleeve if you don't have a tissue.
Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands, especially avoiding your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Keep a safe distance away from people and avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
Keep yourself and those around you safe.
